The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island

Kiawah Island Golf Resort offers a gorgeous course along the Atlantic Ocean. You get to enjoy your game as you take in the breathtaking views at this location, considered an icon to avid golfers. It's even served as the backdrop for golf tournaments. Of course, the Ocean Course isn't the only one Kiawah Island provides. They have a learning center on-site, as well as four other courses in the vicinity, including:

  • Oak Point won Course of the Year in 2019 from Charleston's Golf Course Owners Association.
  • Turtle Point received significant renovations in 2016 and encourages strategic thinking due to its challenging design.
  • Cougar Point received extensive renovations in 2017 and was a filming location for The Legend of Bagger Vance.

Country Club Of Charleston 

Founded in 1786, the Country Club of Charleston has long been considered an integral part of the South Carolina golfing community. Many state championships have been held here, with the Azalea Invitational also hosted each year. Members and their guests must adhere to strict attire and etiquette. Many designs from Scottish courses are incorporated into this one, featuring challenging aspects that require careful strategizing. The course has received three significant renovations over the years, in 1991, 2006, and 2018. Though the course looks similar to its original design, it has much more advanced technological features. 

The Links Course at Wild Dunes

Wild Dunes is Charleston's award-winning island resort. They operate two courses, with the Links Course being the very first designed by Tom Fazio. This course combines numerous landscapes for the ultimate golfing experience and finishes its final hole with a view of the Atlantic. Practice facilities are on site. You can also receive instruction in a private setting.

Patriots Point Links on Charleston Harbor

Enjoy a full-service golf facility at Patriots Point Links. Sitting near Charleston Harbor, it's home to one of the city's most favored wedding and event sites. The 1979 creation has expanded exponentially over the years to become what it is today. 

Yeamans Hall Club

Approximately 15 miles to the north of Charleston sits Yeamans Hall Club. This members-only facility ranks among the top 100 courses worldwide. The exclusive, incredibly private locale spans 900 acres and is the ideal spot for all major golf enthusiasts. Seth Raynor originally designed it in 1925 and has far exceeded expectations for the golfing community ever since.
